ABOUT SCOTT

Some kids dreamed about becoming astronauts or doctors. I just wanted to make stuff. I was always drawing something as a kid, whether it was my parents, cartoon characters, or whatever else was stuck in my head that day. Later, shows like MTV Jams, Rap City, and 106 & Park introduced me to a bigger world of visual storytelling. That was when I started paying attention to how music, photography, graphics, fashion, and culture could all work together to make something people remembered. My photography journey started in 2012 with no real experience, an Amazon studio kit, and a degree from YouTube University. I convinced friends to model, did a lot of free work, made plenty of mistakes, and slowly figured out what kind of creative I wanted to be.

What started with photography eventually grew into much more.

Today, I work across photography, graphic design, creative direction, branding, social media content, campaign development, and visual storytelling. I help brands and organizations bring ideas to life through strong concepts, thoughtful design, and images that actually feel like something.

My work includes commercial photography, editorial photography, corporate headshots, event coverage, brand campaigns, outdoor advertising, print marketing, social media design, presentation design, recruitment materials, patient education, and full visual campaigns for healthcare organizations and multi-location businesses.

I currently work as a graphic designer in the healthcare industry, where I create campaigns for oral surgery practices and support projects across branding, digital marketing, print, billboards, social media, internal communications, training, and event materials. That experience has made me even more intentional about the work I create. Good design should look good, of course, but it also needs to communicate clearly and solve a real problem.

Outside of client work, I have also built community-driven projects such as Brothers in Nature, a walking experience created to help Black men step away from everyday noise, reconnect, and build community. That project has involved everything from brand development and event promotion to merchandise, photography, social media campaigns, and storytelling.

My creative style is flexible, but my approach stays the same. I listen, ask questions, collaborate, and try not to make the process more complicated than it needs to be. Nobody wants a stressful photoshoot or a 37-email design project.

Over the years, my photography has been featured in publications, galleries, campaigns, and live events. I have photographed major artists, worked with national and local brands, and helped businesses create visuals that feel polished, memorable, and true to who they are.

Scott Anthony Photography started as a photography brand, but it has grown into a full creative practice. Whether I am behind a camera, building a campaign, designing a billboard, or developing a visual identity, the goal is always the same: create work that connects, communicates, and leaves an impression.
